Life History Book
When you've ordered an OurLifeTree Emigrant Package and we have completed your Ancestry Research, we will design for you an heirloom quality Life History book and Life Tree poster using the results we've found.
The book size is  14"x11" and will include around 30 pages.
If you wish to include information about descendents to the emigrant featured in your Life History Book, you will have to provide us with that  information (names, date of birth, place of birth, etc.). We will then try to find U.S. records for the descendents and add it to the book.
Each Life History Book includes the following pages:
  • Family Pages -Information about the family, maps, photos. Swedish records and translation and explaination of the records

  • Emigration Page - Information about the emigrant's journey from Sweden to America, passengers manifests, photos of the ship (NOTE: actual contents vary and are directly dependent upon available records).

  • General pages - Pages about Sweden, the emigrant's city of birth, Explaination of  records, different occupations, etc.

  • Descendents list and U.S. records - only available if you provide us with the information about the descendents of the featured emigrant (names, date and place of birth)

  • Photo pages - only available if you provide us with photos, letters, personal stories etc.

  • Future generation pages - on these pages you can write notes and add photos of future generations.
Tip!  Once you placed your order, be sure to visit your attic, empty those shoe boxes, and send in digital files of photos, letters and diary entries, plus stories from living family members. We can feature these in a way that helps to bring your Life History pages come to life.
